Connectivity Colocation with WWISP allow for your servers to reside less than 4 hops from the two major peering points for the public Internet. WWISP provides Ethernet connections into each of our customer's colocation cabinets for access to and from the web. Security and Monitoring WWISP's colocation facility is monitored 24x7x365 from a network and security standpoint. Surveillance cameras are setup to monitor entrance into the facility as well as to monitor activity within the colocation space itself. Our administrators monitor the facility for network connectivity on a continuous basis and are alerted immediately at the hint of a problem.

Protection - Fire Suppression Within the colocation facility an FM 200 Gas Fire Suppression System protects all equipment from fire. FM 200 Gas is the most popular replacement to the outlawed Halon System. The system is completely safe for computer electronics, leaves no residue and there is no clean up once the system has been discharged.

Reliable Power Source WWISP offers all colocation customers complete power and back up power services. WWISP provides customer with a dedicated power circuit into each cabinet. These circuits are completely independent from each other and connected into a dedicated "circuit breaker" WWISP provides 20 Amps of power per cabinet space. Backup power is supplied to the facility via three (3) Best Ferrups UPS systems each carrying capacity of 18Kw of power. In addition, WWISP has in place a fully dedicated Detroit Diesel Generator with a capacity of 160 Kw of power under full load. WWISP exercises the full power backup system weekly under full load for about 45 minutes. All power is switched automatically and without human intervention.

Controlled Environment Environmental control is a very important function of any colocation facility and WWISP's is no exception. WWISP has in place a 12 Ton HVAC unit and a supplemental 17 ton Leibert HVAC unit to cool and de-humidify our colocation facility. Our HVAC units are independent and redundant to each other and keeps the colocation facility at a constant 68 degree level from the middle of Winter to middle of the hot Alabama summers. WWISP's HVAC units also reside behind our backup power solution, so in the event of a power outage we still have environmental controls.
